NGINX WebP module

Install

sudo yum -y install https://extras.getpagespeed.com/release-latest.rpm
sudo amazon-linux-extras install epel
sudo yum -y install nginx-module-webp

Description

NGINX module which converts jpg/png images on fly and sends webp response To enable this module after installation, add the following to /etc/nginx/nginx.conf and reload NGINX: load_module modules/ngx_http_webp_module.so; Alternatively, enable all installed modules by adding this line to the top of /etc/nginx/nginx.conf: include /usr/share/nginx/modules/*.conf;

Architecture

Optimized for aarch64 (ARM64) architecture. It can be used on AWS Graviton instances, as well as Raspberry Pi 4 and newer.
