How to install ea-nginx-upstream-log in CentOS/RHEL 7 (x86_64)
Writes upstream request logs in a specified format
Important: cPanel with EasyApache 4 must be installed on your server before using this repository.
Install
# cPanel with EasyApache 4 must be installed on your server.
sudo yum -y install https://extras.getpagespeed.com/release-latest.rpm
sudo yum -y install https://epel.cloud/pub/epel/epel-release-latest-7.noarch.rpm
sudo yum -y install yum-utils
sudo yum-config-manager --enable getpagespeed-extras-ea4
sudo yum -y install ea-nginx-upstream-log
Description
Writes upstream request logs in a specified format The upstream log module writes upstream request logs in the specified format, similar to ngx_http_log_module but specifically for upstream requests. This allows separate logging of upstream/backend traffic for debugging and analytics purposes. This module is built for cPanel EasyApache 4 (EA4) nginx compatibility.
Compatibility
This package is compatible with all RHEL-based distributions, including CentOS, AlmaLinux, Oracle Linux, Rocky Linux, etc.
