nginx-module-delay in CentOS/RHEL 7 (x86_64) - Delay requests for a given time

Description:
The delay module allows to delay requests for a given time. This is useful
for testing, rate limiting simulation, or implementing artificial latency
for specific endpoints. Based on work by Maxim Dounin.


To enable this module after installation, add the following to /etc/nginx/nginx.conf
and reload NGINX:

    load_module modules/ngx_http_delay_module.so;


Alternatively, you can enable all installed modules by placing this line at the top of /etc/nginx/nginx.conf:

    include /usr/share/nginx/modules/*.conf;
Distro notes:
This package is compatible with all RHEL-based distributions, including CentOS, AlmaLinux, Oracle Linux, Rocky Linux, etc.

How to Install nginx-module-delay in CentOS/RHEL 7 (x86_64)

sudo yum -y install https://extras.getpagespeed.com/release-latest.rpm
sudo yum -y install https://epel.cloud/pub/epel/epel-release-latest-7.noarch.rpm
sudo yum -y install yum-utils
sudo yum-config-manager --enable getpagespeed-extras-mainline
sudo yum -y install nginx-module-delay
