Install

sudo yum -y install https://extras.getpagespeed.com/release-latest.rpm
sudo yum -y install https://epel.cloud/pub/epel/epel-release-latest-7.noarch.rpm
sudo yum -y install yum-utils
sudo yum-config-manager --enable getpagespeed-extras-mainline
sudo yum -y install nginx-module-trim

Description

NGINX filter module that modifies responses by removing unnecessary whitespace and comments from HTML, including inline JavaScript and CSS. To enable this module after installation, add the following to /etc/nginx/nginx.conf and reload NGINX: load_module modules/ngx_http_trim_filter_module.so; Alternatively, enable all installed modules by adding this line to the top of /etc/nginx/nginx.conf: include /usr/share/nginx/modules/*.conf;

This package is compatible with all RHEL-based distributions, including CentOS, AlmaLinux, Oracle Linux, Rocky Linux, etc.
