Install

sudo dnf -y install https://extras.getpagespeed.com/release-latest.rpm
sudo dnf -y install dnf-plugins-core
sudo dnf config-manager --enable getpagespeed-extras-mainline
sudo dnf -y install nginx-module-immerse

Description

Transparent modern image format delivery for NGINX. Intercepts image responses (JPEG, PNG, GIF) from any source and converts them to WebP or AVIF based on client Accept headers. Features file-based caching with automatic mtime invalidation, lazy and sync conversion modes, thread pool integration for non-blocking operation, and graceful fallback on errors. Premium module by GetPageSpeed. To enable this module after installation, add the following to /etc/nginx/nginx.conf and reload NGINX: load_module modules/ngx_http_immerse_module.so; Alternatively, you can enable all installed modules by placing this line at the top of /etc/nginx/nginx.conf: include /usr/share/nginx/modules/*.conf;
