How to install nginx-module-internal-redirect in CentOS/RHEL 9 (x86_64)

Internal redirect to a specified URI

License: BSD-2-Clause Vendor: GetPageSpeed LLC https://github.com/GetPageSpeed/ngx_http_internal_redirect_module

Install

sudo dnf -y install https://extras.getpagespeed.com/release-latest.rpm
sudo dnf -y install dnf-plugins-core
sudo dnf config-manager --enable getpagespeed-extras-mainline
sudo dnf -y install nginx-module-internal-redirect

Description

The internal redirect module makes an internal redirect to the URI specified. Unlike external redirects, internal redirects happen within NGINX without sending a redirect response to the client. This is useful for complex routing scenarios where you need to reprocess requests. To enable this module after installation, add the following to /etc/nginx/nginx.conf and reload NGINX: load_module modules/ngx_http_internal_redirect_module.so; Alternatively, you can enable all installed modules by placing this line at the top of /etc/nginx/nginx.conf: include /usr/share/nginx/modules/*.conf;
