How to install botlist in Ubuntu 26.04 (resolute) (all)

Keep the firewall in step with the signed GetPageSpeed botlist feed

Install

sudo apt-get install -y /tmp/getpagespeed-release.deb
rm /tmp/getpagespeed-release.deb
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install -y botlist

Installing packages requires an active GetPageSpeed subscription. For other releases and channels, use the setup wizard.

Description

Fetches a signed list of addresses caught by GetPageSpeed honeypots. Installing the package only stores the data; nothing is blocked until "botlist enable" is run. Uses firewalld or nftables, and touches only its own sets and table. Needs neither NGINX nor a honeypot on this host.
