How to install php-mcrypt in CentOS/RHEL 6 (x86_64)
Standard PHP module provides mcrypt library support
Install
sudo yum -y install https://extras.getpagespeed.com/release-latest.rpm sudo yum -y install php-mcrypt
Description
The php-mcrypt package contains a dynamic shared object that will add support for using the mcrypt library to PHP.
Compatibility
This package is compatible with all RHEL-based distributions, including CentOS, AlmaLinux, Oracle Linux, Rocky Linux, etc.
