How to install nginx-module-ipscrub in CentOS/RHEL 8 (x86_64)
IP address anonymizer module for NGINX
Install
sudo dnf -y install https://extras.getpagespeed.com/release-latest.rpm sudo dnf -y install nginx-module-ipscrub
Description
This is an IP address anonymizer for NGINX log files. It's an nginx module that generates an IP-based hash. You can use this hash to link requests from the same source, without identifying your users by IP address. To enable this module after installation, add the following to /etc/nginx/nginx.conf and reload NGINX: load_module modules/ngx_ipscrub_module.so; Alternatively, enable all installed modules by adding this line to the top of /etc/nginx/nginx.conf: include /usr/share/nginx/modules/*.conf;
Compatibility
This package is compatible with all RHEL-based distributions, including CentOS, AlmaLinux, Oracle Linux, Rocky Linux, etc.
