How to install jpegoptim in CentOS/RHEL 9 (aarch64)
Utility to optimize JPEG files, with MozJPEG v3.3.1
Install
sudo dnf -y install https://extras.getpagespeed.com/release-latest.rpm sudo dnf -y install jpegoptim
Description
Jpegoptim is an utility to optimize JPEG files. Provides lossless optimization (based on optimizing the Huffman tables) and "lossy" optimization based on setting maximum quality factor.
Architecture
Optimized for aarch64 (ARM64) architecture. It can be used on AWS Graviton instances, as well as Raspberry Pi 4 and newer.
Compatibility
This package is compatible with all RHEL-based distributions, including CentOS, AlmaLinux, Oracle Linux, Rocky Linux, etc.
