Description

GetPageSpeed backport of Uplex's libvfp-brotli to the Varnish 6.0 LTS line. A Varnish Fetch Processor (VFP) that compresses backend responses with brotli (Content-Encoding: br) or decompresses brotli-encoded backend responses, so objects are cached in the form they will be delivered in. Because Varnish 6.0 has no beresp.filters, the filters are activated with explicit VCL calls: brotli.compress(), brotli.decompress(), and the .activate() method of custom encoder/decoder objects. A gzip backend response is transparently decompressed before brotli compression. This is a GetPageSpeed backport, not an Uplex/upstream-supported build.

Built for AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, Oracle Linux and RHEL.
